About Whixall CE Primary School and Nursery

Whixall CE Primary School and Nursery joined The 3-18 Education Trust in September 2026.

We are a vibrant and nurturing school set within beautiful grounds that inspire children’s curiosity and encourage a lifelong sense of awe and wonder about the world around them. Our outdoor environment provides rich opportunities for exploration, discovery, and learning, helping our children to develop a deep appreciation of the natural world while supporting their academic, personal, and spiritual growth.

We are extremely fortunate to be located in the village of Whixall, one of the largest inland villages in England and home to the remarkable Whixall Moss. Recognised as a Site of Special Scientific Interest, this unique landscape offers an extraordinary learning resource on our doorstep. The history, heritage, and natural environment of our local area play a significant role in shaping our curriculum, enabling children to develop a strong understanding of their place within both the local and wider world.
