Our Year 9 students were delighted to meet author Anika Hussain this week and discover what it takes to turn an idea into a published book.
Students explored the writing and publishing process, asked some fantastic questions, and even received signed copies of Anika’s latest book! ⭐

🎿🏆 **National Schools North Champions!** 🏆🎿
A huge congratulations to **Libby and Hugo**, who proudly represented **William Brookes School** this week at the **National Schools Snowsports Association Indoor Ski Slalom Championships for Northern Schools**.
Competing against some of the best young skiers in the region, both students achieved an outstanding **3rd place finish** in their respective events. 🥉🥉
Their excellent individual performances combined to secure **1st place in the Mixed Team Competition**, meaning **William Brookes School has been crowned National Schools North Mixed Team Champions!** 🥳🏆
We are delighted to have a championship trophy on its way to school and are incredibly proud of their dedication, talent and achievement.
