Finance
The Trust operates a centralised finance system for academy business. The Trust Central finance team will cover the following:
- Process and pay invoices
- Produce timely monthly accounts and identify variances
- Produce year-end forecast reports
- Support with budget setting process
- Medium & long term financial planning
- Identifying and supporting the implementation of business efficiencies
Capital Projects
The Trust receives in excess of £1m each year to improve its capital estate. The Trust, through the capital project team, ensures this money is invested fairly and in areas of greatest health & safety/safeguarding need. In addition to this the team support schools with the following:
- Development of strategic capital plan
- Advice & guidance on proposed building projects
- Project management of building projects
- Carrying out of certain projects, depending on complexity
Premises Maintenance & Compliance
For our primary schools that may not have dedicated, specialist site teams, the central office can offer a bespoke premises maintenance provision including all H&S monitoring and compliance. The service will include:
- Reactive on-call support from our specialise site team
- 1 day per week maintenance and site improvement work
- Oversee all compliance H&S areas
- Advice & guidance on maintenance schedules
