Bowbrook Primary School in Shrewsbury proudly hosted our first Trust-wide primary sports competition last week.
More than 130 pupils from Bowbrook, Coleham, Hodnet, John Wilkinson and Much Wenlock joined together to take part in a fantastic afternoon of competitive sport and participation.
Events on the day included:
- Year 3/4 football tournament
- Year 3/4 netball tournament
- Key Stage 1 football tournament
Building friendships and developing confidence
The event provided a wonderful opportunity for pupils from across our Trust community to represent their schools, build new friendships and develop confidence in a competitive setting.
Congratulations to Hodnet Primary School, who were crowned champions in both the football and netball tournaments!
Hosts Bowbrook Primary School commented: “What a fantastic afternoon of sport, with great sportsmanship, impressive skills and, most importantly, lots of smiling faces as the children competed against one another.
Thank you to all the schools, staff, and our amazing children who helped make the event such a success.”
