About Bowbrook Primary School
Bowbrook Primary School opened on 1st September 2023.
Bowbrook is Shrewsbury’s newest school with state-of-the-art facilities including a multi-use games area, dance studio, science lab and DT lab as well as extensive surrounding fields.
There are a fantastic range of resources which provide our children with wonderful opportunities, inside and outside the classroom, as they take their first steps into building successful futures.

We rounded the half term off with a whole school walk around the estate, breathing in the fresh air, appreciating the beauty of the nature around us and reflecting with our friends on what’s been a brilliant start to the year. 🍂
We were treated to a story by our super storytellers and shared our class pumpkins with each other before reminding ourselves of our 3 school rules that apply both in and out of school; be kind, be ready, be safe. ⭐️

There was a special visitor to Bowbrook today. Harry Davis has just returned from climbing Kilimanjaro! A real life explorer!
He spoke to the children about following your dreams, working hard and making it happen. He told them it took 7 days to climb up and 2 days to get down. He walked through jungle, cliffs and into snow high above the clouds. He told the children it was scary at times but he “felt the fear and did it anyway” He had to follow all our school rules…… to BE KIND to the rest of the team, BE READY with all the right equipment and BE SAFE by listening to the guides. 🏔️ ...
