Placements
The subjects that each of our partner schools are able to offer will differ from year to year depending on capacity within their departments.
We liaise closely with schools to find out which subjects they can provide placements for in the following academic year.
We carefully match trainees to schools taking personal circumstances into account wherever possible. We aim to place trainees within a 45 minute commute, though this is not always possible (for example if an individual is relying on public transport).
When we start to allocate placements, we will contact those successfully enrolled to ask if there is anything we should take into consideration when allocating placement schools. For example if you have a preference, or whether you have relatives in a particular school.
We do not always have the flexibility to change school placements and may not be able to confirm your placement school until the start of the programme.
