Role: Chief Executive Officer
Experience: Over the last 30 years David has driven education improvement as a successful Headteacher, Deputy CEO and leader of specialist school status.
Background: David has lived and worked across the country in Kent, Staffordshire and Shropshire. He is passionate about developing the whole person through creativity, intelligent use of technology and developing positive approaches to mental and physical health.

Role: Deputy CEO
Experience: Claire has worked in a number of leadership roles within a variety of schools, including as Headteacher at Coleham Primary School. She brings with her a wealth of leadership and school improvement experience.
Background: Claire has worked in education for 20 years in schools in Trafford and Shropshire. She believes that collaboration is the key to success because we learn best together. Claire is passionate about providing the highest quality education to our young people, always ensuring that they are at the centre of everything we do.

Role: Chief Finance Officer
Experience: Duncan previously occupied the role of Business Manager at The Priory School and before that worked at Ludlow Sixth Form College as Finance Manager.
Background: Duncan is a chartered accountant (CIMA) having qualified in 2009 whilst working in the automobile industry. He is passionate about providing the best opportunities for the young people in our Trust.

Role: IT Director
Experience: After an early career in commerce IT departments, Tim started working in schools over 20 years ago. Tim has worked in the primary, secondary and FE sectors and contributes to national conversations in IT strategy in education.
Background: Tim has lived in Shropshire all of his adult life. He is passionate about creating and planning current and future solutions to give our staff and students the tools they need to progress in a fast-paced digital world. He believes that the balance of efficiency working on screens should maximise the time to enrich life away from technology. Keeping all our data secure remains his primary focus.

Role: Director of HR
Experience: Laura is CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development) qualified and has previously worked in Shropshire Council, the NHS and in the global energy and financial sector; bringing both public sector and commercial sector experience to the role of HR Director at the Trust.
Background: Laura has lived and worked across Hampshire, Bedfordshire, Lancashire and Shropshire and has a passion for unlocking people’s potential through professional development and delivering effective succession planning.

Role: HR Manager
Experience: Jodie joins us with a wealth of experience having worked in Human Resources for 20 years within Education and the commercial sector.
Background: Jodie moved into Education from the Global Construction sector adapting her knowledge of commercial HR into the Public sector. Jodie is CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development) qualified and has worked in Human Resources across a number of sectors, including fenestration, engineering and facilities.

Role: Senior IT Technician
Experience: A graduate in Computer Science, Tim has worked within trust schools for over 10 years starting as the IT Technician at Priory School in 2013.
Background: Tim has lived in Shropshire his entire life. Working closely with the IT Director, he is passionate about solving problems and implementing new technologies to provide staff and students with the best IT experience possible.

Role: Building Projects Manager
Experience: Tim worked as the Site Manager at the Priory School from 2017. He is a Bricklayer by trade and has worked in the construction sector since leaving school.
Background: Tim became a multiskilled tradesman while running his own building company and now brings this wealth of experience to the role of Building Projects Manager.

Role: Finance Assistant
Experience: Tina has worked in finance for 42 years. Tina works as the Trust’s Finance Assistant and is responsible for invoicing processing for the schools in the Trust.
Background: Tina previously worked at Severn Trent Water before joining The Priory School in September 2000, and then becoming a member of the MAT team.

Role: Governance Professional
Experience: Carole joined the Trust’s governance team in 2018. Prior to this she held the role of Chair of Governors at her local primary school.
Background: Carole background is in the finance and insurance sectors and has valuable experience and proven successes in developing and managing a wide range of business units in both start-up and re-engineering situations. For the last 15 years Carole has specialised in governance within various sectors and managing volunteers.

Role: SEND and Safeguarding Trust Consultant
Experience: Sadie is a qualified NASENCO and has worked in a number of schools including Coleham Primary School within the Trust. Prior to working in education, Sadie worked in a number of leadership roles within business, working globally to support companies to expand their markets and provide strategic support.
Background: Sadie has worked across a number of countries over 20 years and has built her skills in supporting and mentoring colleagues to achieve success. Sadie continued this passion to support people, further specialising in the world of SEND, where she continues to champion equity for all and ensuring every child has a voice that is heard.

Role: Digital Marketing Consultant
Experience: Doug worked as the IT Technician at Coleham School from 2019. During that time, his role grew to include creative work with graphics, photography and video.
Background: Doug has over 15 years experience in providing websites, promotional photography, graphics and videography for the Primary school sector.

Role: Building Projects Assistant
Experience: After leaving school Sam worked as a site maintenance apprentice at the priory school, where he gained a valuable insite into the inner workings in a school environment.
Background: Sam has always had a keen interest in fixing things from an early age and spent many hours in a construction environment due to his family’s ties in the building trade.

Role: Finance Manager
Experience: Rob joined the Trust after 17 years with Shropshire Council where his main focus was Adult Social Care
Background: Rob is a part qualified chartered accountant (CIMA). He is passionate about getting the process right first time and improving systems and procedures to achieve value for money. This maximises funding to be directed towards young people in the Trust

Role: Governance Support Coordinator
Experience: Lynn is an experienced School Business Manager who worked for 20 years in a large Primary School in Shrewsbury.
Background: Lynn initially trained in Banking and specialised in the computerisation of branches and staff training.
Appointed: HR Role since June 23 (Although within the 318 trust since March 22.)
Role: HR Officer
Experience: Kirsty Joined the MAT Central Team after working as a School Business Manager for 3-18 at William Brooke’s School. Her HR experience has been in both public and private sectors, from Local Authorities to Private Agencies spanning over 18 years.
Background: With extensive experience in both primary and secondary settings across the local authority and other Multi Academy Trusts, alongside having formerly worked within social care, enabling services to support the needs of children and young people has always been the centre focus for her career. HR being her passion, Kirsty is now embarking on her CIPD L7 qualification.
