Lucy Talbot

MFL (Secondary)

Lucy is an experienced Head of Department, who is able to support secondary MFL leads and MFL departments to develop their curriculum offer and classroom practice.

I have been Head of Languages at The Priory School for several years, teaching French to students in Years 7-11. Previously, I taught French and Italian in a comprehensive school in Essex to Years 7-13.

I am a huge believer in working together with colleagues across different departments and schools to improve practice. There is so much that departments can collaborate on and it is a really valuable opportunity when we can share resources, experiences and ideas, especially during times of change such as when new GCSE specifications are released.

In other roles, I have worked as a facilitator for STEP and BPN courses, focussing on improving classroom practice, developing leadership skills and supporting ECTs and their mentors.
