Collaboration at the heart of dynamic leadership programme

Twenty-five aspiring leaders from across The 3-18 Education Trust came together last Friday to start their journey as part of The Aspire Programme – a high energy, dynamic leadership programme for teaching and support staff.

Delegates from across the Trust’s nine schools and central team will undertake the programme over the next 12 months, with one of the aims being to bring individuals together to learn and grow.

Collaboration is at the heart of the programme, along with a change management project where delegates drive forward school- or Trust-wide strategic initiatives.

Action learning is an important feature of the course, with leadership specialists facilitating each session. Laura Taylor, Director of HR, said: “We have secured some brilliant external facilitators for this year’s programme, including those who have previously worked on leadership programmes with Google UK, Samsung, the Financial Times and Unilever.”

The Aspire Programme is just one part of the professional development on offer to 3-18 Education Trust staff. For more about training and development opportunities, visit Training and Development – The 3-18 Education Trust.
